Another Photoshop 3D test.
Testing out how one could use the grayscale depth map to 3d function in concept painting.
- Made a 32bit 2K image
- Painted elevation map in grayscale
- Made 3D out of it
- Converted to 8-bit 2D image
- Painted
Painting time: about 1,5h
Total time: about 2h.
EDIT: Found out how to make my blog bigger and wider to better accommodate big FullHD monitors!

More legendary pokemon!
Since I did Xerneas last time.. I thought.. maybe I need to do Yveltal too. But I'm not a bit Yveltal fan. So I painted both!
After studying Yveltal I actually started to like him/her/it! Although the tail is a bit odd, the whole design is actually pretty cool.

Did some environments for my classmates iPhone game and decided to take a challenge and see how could I use the PS 3D tool.
- 40min modeling
- 10min unwrapping
- Began Photoshop work
- Paint, fix, render
- 2 concept paintings
- Painting total time = about 2h
TOTAL TIME: About 1h on 3D + About 2h on 2D = about 3h
