A quick sketch for this evening..

Damn i dont know does Blogspot make it darker or what.. but this is a lot darker than i was uploading..

About 5 hours maybe..
Sketching and the whole painting process streamed live on ustream :)

1st test with the new physical brushes in photoshop cs5
the full "3d tracking" of the pen looks cool!
Theyr still a bit hard to use..

Im not 100% sure if this one is complete.. i guess it is.. I would want to add people and more detail in it.. if only i could draw people.. :)
Heres the Final v.1 at least..

Took me freakin half a year to finish! heh..

The whole process was streamed live at USTREAM.tv so if you werent there.. you missed some good techniques! ;)

Some car designs.. mine of course.. inspired by Speed Racer concept art obviously..
So wich one should i render? Maybe i will even do one in 3d.. who knows.. I was sorta leaning towards number 1.. since that was the 1st original idea i had.. the others were just brainstorming results..

A jeep i drew during my live painting stream on USTREAM site.
I like this design and maybe i will render it in color.. or maybe model in 3d even.. dunno yet..

In the process of drawing this i found an astonishing new technique to create three-dimensional-looking vehicle from two dimensional sideview! I will not share it with anyone as it is my own artistic right.. ;)

A typical summer view outside our window on 8th floor.

Photoshop.

Stuff i did on my mobile phone.. Nokia 5800 XM Blue
And the different programs i used. The latest program i use, "Lapix" finally has all the 16 million colors that i always needed.. Too bad the opacity is working there in Very odd and unexpected ways...

Is this ok? For 3dsmax, ps, zbrush, possibly maya.. and so on.. oh and crysis/crysis2 and so on.. :)

So heres the final pyramid -pic.. + a new task. we had to go draw movement outside.. so of course we went to a lake.. drew some birds and shit..
and the painting task was obviously use the sketches and reference and paint "movement"..
Drawing movement is actually super hard! All the sketches ended up as still pictures of motion life. At least in painting its a bit easier..

Acrylics.
2-3 days on the pyramid pic
about 3 hours on the bird pic i think..

Damn.. i think im having an artist block again.. :(
I had some real trouble with this one.. at first i was very inspired from a tiny (about 100x60 pixels) pic from the screenshots i took from our UDK level.. but very quickly i had no idea how to advance.. no idea about the details, the perspective or anything.

It took me 2 days (whole weekend) to paint this little by little.. Playing ff13, browsing the web and watching anime in between.. I wanted to add a little spaceman in the front.. but i was so frustrated and demotivated at the end that i decided that the pic was done without him.

The idea was to create a huge, gigantic white ship approaching the spaceman.. and the pic would be taken with a very long tele lens to create a very two dimensional feeling.
